Does anyone here have mulberry trees from which they harvest the berries? We have gotten some berries from a neighbor in past years, but perhaps just a small handful to snack on. Our mulberry tree has now reached a fairly substantial size and I see berries on it this year! I would LOVE to get these berries and make jam, pie filling, etc. However, my husband is doubtful - he think the birds will get to them while they are still on the tree before we can.
